Our Story

We are a fellowship for those navigating the painful terrain of grief, trauma, and moral injury. Our founder, publically known as "Mae", walks this difficult road herself after losing her son in a tragic accident that she was responsible for—a heartbreak that birthed this mission.

We gather the fragments of shattered lives to help weave them into a new story of tender purpose and soft peace. We believe that true restoration is a collective journey, never a solitary one.

By embracing the grace found within the sheltering walls of faith and community, we provide a sanctuary where your soul is valued no matter what, and where no one has to walk the path of healing alone.

Board Governance & Advisory Committee

Patchwork is a board-governed Christian 501(c)(3) nonprofit, supported by an advisory committee of compassionate community members. Our advisors include grief and trauma counselors, ministers, business leaders, and fellow trauma survivors who help guide our work with wisdom, care, and lived experience.

A Note About Our Services

Our ministry serves as a gentle companion to, not a substitute for, clinical mental health therapy services.
